The Clinic

Are people with addiction worth saving?

Natalie, haunted by her twin brother’s tragic overdose, seeks solace in the chaos of the Clinic. She hopes to find answers in a place where only more questions arise. At home, she contends with her mother. Selena’s spiraling alcoholism is a growing issue since the death of her brother.

At the Clinic, Natalie is faced with a daily onslaught of desperate souls. She battles a system that’s as broken as the addicts themselves, witnessing the raw, brutal reality of addiction: the vomit, the blood, the endless cycle of relapse. Determined to make a difference, she sets a daunting goal: save just one life in 30 days. But as the days tick by, the weight of failure grows heavier. Can she salvage a life - any life -from the abyss, or will she succumb to the overwhelming despair? As Natalie grapples with her own demons and the clinic’s relentless demands, she forms unexpected bonds with her colleagues. They become her lifeline, a flawed family united by a shared purpose. But can even their collective strength withstand the relentless tide of addiction?

Meanwhile, at home, Natalie’s mother continues her spiral downwards. Can Natalie apply the lessons learned from the clinic to rescue her mother from the maws of alcoholism? Or will her efforts be too little, too late?

Ultimately, Natalie must confront the harsh truth: some battles are lost before they’re even fought. Yet, in the face of overwhelming odds, she finds a flicker of hope, a reason to persevere - and the ability to forgive. It’s with the gift of grace where she finds the strength to keep fighting for those that she works with and most importantly, her mother at home.
